Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • To provide information regarding software updates and additional courses
  • To provide the license to access the CUBAS software
  • To maintain contact with license holders for online tech support
  • To maintain a register of License holders
  • To manage implementation of and expiry of licence
  • To provide an online forum for users post training (optional involvement)

We may share licensing information with the licence holder’s:

  • Agency
  • Employer
  • Enquiring legal parties upon request
  • The court upon request.

Contact information and SWE registration information is collected via our website upon applications for training or another legitimate enquiry. Information regarding licensing is collected through the CUBAS software electronic management system.

This is held only to protect the software for legitimate access by authorised, licensed and trained users only. Information is also held to enable potentially interested legal parties to check as to a social worker’s training and license holder status to undertake CUBAS assessments for the court prior to instructions being issued.

How we store your personal information:

Your information is securely stored on the organisation’s secure server using appropriate organisational and technical measures.

We keep contact and license holder status information for the minimum period required to facilitate our contractual requirements with our data subjects or our legal obligations. We will delete personal information on the server and all associated electronic management systems relating to the CUBAS software within 6 months after retention periods have expired.

Your data protection rights:
